BioAscent has received Cyber Essentials Plus certification, demonstrating the company’s commitment to cyber security.
Cyber Essentials is a UK government-led scheme, launched in 2014, which is part of the Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy, helping companies to protect themselves against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
Working with BioAscent’s IT support provider, Boxportable, the company underwent an in-depth assessment of its IT infrastructure, to evaluate boundary firewalls, internet gateways, security and access control and IT protections.
Commenting on the Cyber Essentials accreditation, COO and Co-Founder, Sylviane Boucharens says: “Achieving the Cyber Essentials Plus certification demonstrates our commitment to customers, employees and stakeholders with the protection and integrity of their data, helping to ensure BioAscent mitigates against the common cyber risks and threats that face companies today and in the future. This accreditation is part of our ongoing commitment to evolve and improve our data systems as part of our IT and cyber security strategy.
