On Saturday 11 May, members of the BioAscent team participated in St Andrew’s Hospice’s annual ‘It’s a Knockout’ fundraiser. The event, held at Strathclyde Park, saw 16 members of the team splitting into two teams to compete in a series of outdoor games and challenges.
The ‘It’s a Knockout’ event is renowned for its fun and engaging activities which test teamwork. From inflatable obstacle courses to hockey games, both teams performed exceptionally well in their friendly rivalry, raising an outstanding £2,108 for the hospice.
St. Andrew's Hospice offers palliative care for the community of North Lancashire, South Lakes, and parts of North Yorkshire, free of charge. Events like this fundraiser are essential for raising funds to support their invaluable work.
